Due to these terrible conditions, the name of this valley was named 'Death Valley' i.e. 'Valley of Death'. When the valley was studied in 1870, it found bone structures of thousands of animals and humans. In 1933, this valley was declared the National Monument of America. Four to five lakh people visit here every year to see its strangeness.
Although the whole valley is desert, but still many animals like rabbit, squirrel, kangaroo rat etc. are found here. In the survey conducted in the year 1890, it was told that there are 78 types of birds in it. Today it has been made a very delightful place for tourists.
